1. IntroductionWriting is a difficult skill for students to grasp, especially writing in position, where authentic learning environment is not available. Students, learning English as a foreign language, struggle with many unhoped-for problems in writing practice including choosing precise words, organizing ideas into a crystalline and cohesive form, development appropriate forms according to different loving contexts etc. These linguistic problems appearing in the writing change are serious because teachers tend to focus largely on teaching students how to use grammar and choose words, and always regard students as passive receivers, which hamper students from improving their classroom performance and live on them from developing more active behavior in writing. collectable to the gap between students? indigences and teachers? instructional teaching of writing, a series of questions need raising such as how teachers preempt help students to express themselves freely and fluently, and how teachers can help students take more successful readers and writers, etc. There is an urgent need for writing class to help students develop skills in using language by experiencing a whole writing march in the comparatively authentic contexts with the purpose of writing.
This paper attempts to nominate some guidance to students? English writing in old middle school of China. First, I specifically analyze study problems from teaching senior English writing.
Second, I review the lit on two main approaches: the Process Approach and the continuance Approach. Finally, I provide teaching procedures to move forward with the cabal of the Process Approach and the Length Approach to solve the problems relate with senior English writing.
