Organization Security and the network
The Internet is a conversations network that interconnects computers and other network devices round the world. Many individuals and organizations contributed to the introduction of the Internet. However, many in the industry remove the Advanced Research honks Agency Network (ARPANET) to be the archetypical to develop a networking resource that has evolved into the Internet known today. A Department of Defenses Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) project chartered to develop a communication system to enable the exchange of military information in the midst of mainframes created the ARPANET (Whitman & Mattord, 2005). According to Miniwatts Marketing Group (2011), 30 percent of the worlds population, or 2.095 million people, use the Internet. Although the Internet may appear to be a user-friendly resource in that it facilitates communications among unnumerable individuals and computers, it lacks true security to protect a businesss resources and information. The purpose is to psychoanalyse how the Internet affects an organizations information technology (IT) security and proposes solutions to mitigate those problems without curb user access entirely.
Internet Security Issues
Businesses leverage the Internet to communicate and share information. However, users should not take for granted that their communications and data are secure.
