Hatchet Analysis

Hatchet, a book around a boy named Brian Robeson who gets maroon in the woods while he is on his path on a plain to visit his dad. His experience demonstrates how bulk squeeze out survive and adapt to the wilderness. Brian lived with his mother in Hampton, new-made York and was headed to the Canadian north woods. Because of the separate that had just occurred the likes of a month ago, Brian lived with his mother and went to live with his father in the summer. Brian took a plain where just the pilot and him were the only ones on board. maculation on the plain, the pilot convinced Brian to fly the plain for a few minutes, he just gives him a brief ready lesson. While on the plain, Brian also keeps thinking about his parents divorce and about “the secret” his mom has. Meanwhile the pilot is non feeling too well. He feels some pain and temper in his stomach, shoulder and arm. Out of a sudden, the pilot has a heart attack and Brian is left alone and in shock. He has to descent, but it is too difficult. He manages to crash in a lake and is injured but alive. Brian had to learn how to survive until he was rescued. He went through experiences that made him more mature and appreciative about life.
Hatchet is a book that demonstrates that us human beings can survive in the wilderness if we put our minds to it.



Brian was just a boy that managed to be calm, be smart and creative to do what he had to do to be alive. This book portrays the wilderness as an adaptable plaza. Not as a horrible place in where people depart not survive and will probably die. It does not either portray wilderness as something beautiful and relaxing so I believe the depiction of this book towards wilderness is neutral.
In the book they even rise a bear that demonstrates sympathy because it does not hurt Brian. By the story portraying this kind of animal actions, it makes it seem like if animals are not that violent and mean as we humans think they are.
