In this play, an average married couple, vivacious in Paris argues about the fact that her husband commands to go to the races without her. The madam cant understand why he wants to go off to the races. She would rather they be together, and take a drive for the day. The man uses guilt saying he had already bought the tickets, and that it would be a waste of money if he did not go.
