The Constitution has created many opportunities for the people of the United States by constructing laws to let on rights and freedoms. The 1st amendment in the Bill of Rights states that there shall be no laws regarding any establishment of religion and prohibiting a persons beliefs. Every person including the press has the right to freedom of terminology and the right to meet others in a peacefully confluence (U.S. National Archives, n.a). Personally this amendment means so much to me because I turn in the right to believe in God or join a plain against companies who malignment animal rights. This amendment has helped change peoples views over sentence by giving them rights to express their thoughts to others, for example helped women have protest and congregating to gain the right to vote. The Bill of Rights has had a major impact for the people of the United States by creating laws and regulation that give rights and freedoms.

There are some amendments in the Bill of Rights that are not apply today, for example the 3rd amendment which prohibits soldiers forcing others to stay at ones house during a war.
